#87 07-08-2012 Pocket Pegasus

Didn't you love the story of the esteemed editor, marching into Susan J. Anstey's office with all the typo's in the Corninthian circled?  This fearless author and previous guest Susan Stafford Pooley wrote us "I have 3 Pocket Pegasus books now, and could do a couple of readings, and give away a set to a listener if you want."  Susan was bitten by the horse bug at an early age, eventually owning a menagerie of hunters, jumpers, eventers, racehorses, and ponies. She is the managing editor of Horse Sport magazine, Canada's largest equestrian sport publication, and Horsepower magazine for horse-crazy kids. Susan has three grown children and lives on the shores of Lake Erie with her husband, a professional musician. She has written three books in the "Pocket Pegasus" series, with plans for many more to come.

John played some of his brother's music to play, revealed Susan's horse background as well as her experience self-publishing.   Kim Logue, can be heard doing another live Pony Daze reading, with photos uncredited!!! Ack!  We also ended accidentally before the finish of the Ian McD story #1 "written for hoofbeats," so will have to try again.
