hoofbeats #154 07-12-2014 - Fun & Games

Did you see the cover of the Guelph Mercury on Wednesday?  That was a pic of a former riding student and her pony Peaches, boldly active in Mounted Games.  I would love for Sara to come on the show sometime.

The caption in the newspaper read:
FERGUS—A rider competes in one of the mounted Prince Philip Games events hosted by the Western Ontario Region Pony Club at the Fergus Fairgrounds. A variety of competitive games for all levels of riders were held with 120 riders taking part.

After seeing it, I changed the profile photo on hoofbeats radio's fb page to an old photo of me with that very same celebrity.

On today's episode of hoofbeats we are going to replay the interview U of G student Kenzie did with Dr. Dawn Kadish who is involved in mounted games, within a very, very busy horse life.

I would really like to meet her sometime!  If anyone is in touch with Dawn, please let her know hoofbeats would love to have her back.

You can write to the show at hoofbeats.media@gmail.com

We also play Aimee Charbonneau as the Pure Guelphishness playlist, and mention that you can check out her non-musical work at Art on the Street.

You'll hear a bit about the show starting Monday morning at 9am called New Horizons.  As well as two chapters from the Flying Changes blog and a Hayfield report from Alex Pangman.

Wasn't Jordan awesome as an on-air co-host?
