hoofbeats # 155 07-19-2014 More Local Horse Talk

You've heard of the New Horizon project, bringing Senior's voices to the airwaves every Monday morning from 9-10am, right? Recently hoofbeats host Kim Logue, recorded 2 min of tips on Staying Young from a local resident, Jim Bracegirdle, who is 83 years young and who, shares thoughts for other seniors. (Jim has been attending the uke song circle/jams and is a fun character. He offered to ride his bike to the university to record an interview), and told us a few horse jokes!

We forgot to tell you about a note we rec'd:
I am looking for volunteers for Wits End Horse Trials’ August 9th/10th show. If you are interested in volunteering please let me know. We mainly need jump judges but could also use help with dressage and show jumping. If you know anyone who would be interested in volunteering please forward my contact information to them. Thanks,

It's my baby!  The last couple of months, I have been producing a 3-part feature on bullying and this year has seen some great shows!  Sunday, August 3rd  Sunday, August 10th  Sunday July 20th.

We also play some Danny Michel, who is playing soon at Hillside Festival.  See you there?
